Jia Juanzhi 賈捐之, courtesy name Jia Junfang 賈君房, was an official of the late Former Han period 前漢 (206 BCE-8 CE). He was a great-grandson of the famous politician and poet Jia Yi 賈誼 and was appointed gate keeper of the Golden Horse Gate 金馬門 during the reign of Emperor Yuan 漢元帝 (r. 49-33 BCE). At that time the rebellion of Zhu Ya 珠厓 continued for several years without that the imperial troops were able to arrest him. Jia Juanzhi thereupon suggested just ignoring him. His advice was regularly sought by the emperor, yet because he often criticized high court officials, the emperor became more and more estranged with him.
