Pingmiaoji 平苗記

Pingmiaoji 平苗記 "The pacification of the Miao" is a private account on the war against the native tribes of Guizhou during the early Qing period 清 (1644-1911). The short book was written by Liu Yingzhong 劉應中 xxx.

In 1685 several tribes of the Miao 苗 under Wu Erguo 吳二過 and Wu Laosou 吳老叟 rose in rebellion against the intrustion of Chinese settlers into their territory.

The book is found in the series Xiaofanghuzhai yudi congchao 小方壺齋輿地叢鈔.
