Dainange congshu 岱南閣叢書 "Collectanea from the Hall South of Mt. Taishan" is a series of collectanea (congshu 叢書) compiled by the Qing-period 清 (1644-1911) scholar Sun Xingyan 孫星衍 (1753-1818). It includes 20 books with a total length of 163 juan.

Sun Xingyan was not only known as a writer mentioned together with Hong Liangji 洪亮吉 (1746-1809), Huang Jingren 黃景仁 (1749-1783) or Yang Fangcan 楊芳燦 (1753-1815), but also as a Confucian scholar studying the ancient Classics from the phonological and etymological aspect. He presided the Pure Society for the Study of the Classics (Gujing Jingshe 詁經精舍) and the Zhongshan Academy 鐘山書院 and was also a famous collector of books. Sun Xingyan wrote the commentaries Shangshu gujinwen zhushu 尚書古今文注疏, Zhouyi jijie 周易集解 and Yanzi chunqiu yinyi 晏子春秋音義, and has published the series Dainange congshu and Pingjinguan congshu 平津館叢書.

The title of the Dainange congshu is derived from the fact that the compiled lived south of Mt. Taishan 泰山 (also called Daizong 岱宗). There are actually two versions of the collection available, one including 16 books published in two prints during the Qianlong 乾隆 (1736-1795) and Jiaqing 嘉慶 (1796-1820) reign-periods, and one including 4 books. The twenty books of the series include writings by Sun Xingyan himself as well as some books printed in an excellent quality and therefore with a reliable wording, like Ma Rong's 馬融 (79-166 CE) and Zheng Xuan's 鄭玄 (127-200) commentaries on the old-text Shangshu 古文尚書 or Du Yu's 杜預 (222-284) commentary Chunqiu shili 春秋釋例. Sun Xingyan himself had collected fragments of old texts, like the dictionary Cangjiepian 蒼頡篇 or the story Yandanzi 燕丹子.

The Dainange congshu is one of the best and textually reliably series. The 16-books version was reprinted in 1924 by the Bogu Studio 博古齋 in Shanghai as a facsimile of the original from the Qianlong reign-period. The 4-books version was printed in 1798.
