Nongzheng quanshu 農政全書 "Whole Book on Agricultural Activities"
The Nongzheng quanshu 農政全書 "Whole book on agricultural activities" is an agronomical encyclopedia written by the Ming period 明 (1368-1644) scholar Xu Guangqi 徐光啟 (1562-1633). The book was finished in 1633 and first printed in 1639, after a revision by Chen Zilong 陳子龍. It is 60 juan "scrolls" long and is divided into 12 chapters. The Nongzheng quanshu quotes from 229 books on agriculture. It is richly illustrated.

《集韻》云：颺，風飛也．揚穀器．其制：中置簨軸，列穿四扇或六扇，用薄板或糊竹為之．復有立扇、臥扇之別．各帶掉軸，或手轉足躡，扇即隨轉．凡舂碾之際，以糠米貯之高檻，底通作匾縫下瀉，均細如簾，即將機軸掉轉搧之．糠〔米+比〕既去，乃得淨米．又有舁之場圃間用之者，謂之扇車．凡揉打麥禾等稼，穰籺相雜，亦須用此風車．比之杴〔木+鄭〕箕簸，其功數倍．
