Xizang kao 西藏考 is a book on Tibet written by an unknown author during the early Qing period 清 (1644-1911). The events described in the book ends in 1730. The text is not divided in to chapters, even if it deals with different topics. The largest part of the text deals—in a very precise manner—with geography, mainly travel or courier routes, while the rest quotes from memorials submitted to the Qing emperor by various dignitaries of Tibet, and renders the texts of the important steles from the Tang period (the bilingue of the Sino-Tibetan Treaty of 823) and the Kangxi reign-period 康熙 (1662-1722), after the Qing victory over Gushri Khan in 1723. Concerning the latter, the Xizang kao seems more complete than other books.

The book is included in the series Yishiqianqibaiershijiuhezhai congshu 仰視千七百二十九鶴齋叢書 and Congshu jicheng chubian 叢書集成初編.
